Do you make New Year’s Resolutions?
I usually don’t, and the last time I made them, in 2020 (see here, here and here), the world soon plunged into the pandemic. Seeing that one of my 2020 resolutions was to dine out more is bitter-sweet. So many businesses in the restaurant industry have shut down for good, there were so many missed opportunities to showcase the chefs’ skills and creativity, there was (and there is) so much sadness…
This year I’m planning nothing else than to be me. Continuing to cook predominantly veggie-based meals, learning additional skills, attending to the needs of my family – and planning accordingly 😋 – are my top priorities. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing happy faces enjoying beautiful, fresh flavors and textures.
